Our 70th Birthday Party
The 70th Birthday Party for the Class of 68 is “officially” on, and will be held March 6th & 7th, 2020, at The Holiday Inn on beautiful Jekyll Island! In receiving input from many of the class concerning their desires for the Party, it became obvious that the good vibrations that were experienced by all who attended our 50th Reunion at this same facility, felt that it would be hard to beat for it’s atmosphere and it’s outstanding accommodations, and we could not argue with that. In fact, we were in complete agreement.
So……….we will try to follow the very successful format of our 50th, with a few notable exceptions, while hoping the weather will be equally as wonderful as it was for that weekend.
We, the Committee, will now embark upon the “tweaking” of all the little details, and we will hopefully have them ironed out, as well as having the Registration Forms ready to send out to you, very shortly.
Our goal as a Committee is to make this a very special and memorable weekend that you simply will not want to miss, ……….period. And may I say that we are already well on our way to making that a reality. More info will be coming later this weekend concerning some very exciting news that we feel will indeed make it a special and memorable occasion.
Now, what you need to do to help us, is to right this very moment, find your personal calendar, and circle that weekend with a red ink, and make a personal commitment to be on Jekyll that weekend with all the rest of this great class. Also, if you know of another classmate who may not be either on the E Train or on our Class’s Facebook page, please let them know about this fantastic event and how much we all want them to be with us for this once in a lifetime affair.
